Homeschool On A Battlefield is a cozy mystery in which homeschool kids are the crime-solving amateur detectives.
Lauren Nash and her four kids are visiting the Shiloh National Military Park, where they’ve made a new friend. He’s a nice old man named Larry Pruitt. Larry is an expert on the Battle of Shiloh, which was one of the bloodiest battles of the Civil War. He appears to be keeping some kind of secret. And he’s being threatened by another man. When he disappears, the kids know he’s in trouble. And they set out to find him.

The best part of Homeschool on a Battlefield is watching the kids work together as a team to support each other and to get things done. I fell in love with these kids and I think you will too.
At the time Jennifer Lynn wrote this book, she was homeschooling her own four children. And they provided the inspiration for the kids in the story. They’re all grown up now, but here’s a picture of them at the time their mother wrote Homeschool On A Battlefield.
